• Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or a relay email if you choose to hide your email). We use this solely for account identification and communication.
• Reading Data: Your imported books, articles, reading progress, and preferences are stored on our servers to sync across your sessions. This data is tied to your account.
• Subscription Data: If you subscribe to Ripple Pro, your subscription status is managed through Apple's App Store. We do not store or have access to your payment details.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Ripple app experience
• To sync your reading progress and library across sessions
• To manage your subscription status
• To respond to support requests

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication (JWT tokens). Sensitive credentials are stored using secure storage on your device.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign In: For authentication. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI: For content processing (article text extraction). Content sent for processing is not stored by us beyond what is necessary. Subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with third-party services as described above, and only to the extent necessary to provide our service.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your account and all associated data through the app's Settings
• Export your reading data upon request

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data and reading history is permanently removed from our servers.

Ripple is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
